Best antenna for the buck! I have been using mine for 2+ years. Handheld or mounted this antenna has perfect reception and it breaks down for quick on the go trips. During a bad winter storm my pole snapped and dropped the antenna 30 feet. Didn’t break or damage whatsoever. 73’s KG5FLO

I picked up the 2M/440L5BB at a recent convention and so glad I did. I have several repeaters near my QTH, however, I am shadowed from them by not only hills but the stucco condo complex I live in. The 2M/440L5BB had no troubles in getting me on the air with my HT! This is a must have antenna for any ham!

    Great Antenna!
Worked my first FM Satellite AO-91 with this dual band antenna. I had great reports and receive was great too! I live in the mountain region of Eastern Washington State. My friend has some repeaters that are 51 miles from me and there are lots of mountains and tall hills between us. I was very curious how well I can hit his repeater, so I mounted my Elk Antenna on a 6 foot PVC pipe, I started with 100 watts and hit his repeater! Then I backed it down to 50 Watts, and he still could not tell any difference in my voice to him, and then down to 10 watts and still getting into his repeater!

Oh by the way I live out in the country down in a hole with trees surrounding me.

Oh I forgot to add with my regular antenna I could never hit his repeaters!
