30-Day Return and Refund Policy
Items purchased directly from Elk Antennas may be returned within 30 days after you receive your order.
To qualify for a refund:
* The item must have been purchased directly from Elk Antennas.
* The item must be returned complete, including all parts, pieces, hardware, instructions, and accessories originally supplied.
* The item must not be damaged, altered, abused, or missing parts.
* The item must be safely packed for return shipment.
Refunds are for the purchase price of the returned item or items only. Original shipping charges are not refundable unless the return is due to an error by Elk Antennas.
The customer is responsible for shipping the item back to Elk Antennas. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and packing the antenna carefully, as we cannot issue a refund for items that are damaged in return shipping.
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will issue the refund to the original payment method when possible.
Returns for Items Purchased from Other Sellers
If you purchased your Elk Antennas product from another seller, such as a dealer, retailer, distributor, hamfest vendor, online marketplace, private seller, or other third-party seller, returns and refunds must be handled through that seller according to that seller’s return policy.
Elk Antennas does not issue refunds for items purchased from other sellers.
One-Year Limited Warranty
Elk Antennas warrants genuine Elk Antennas products against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase, regardless of where the product was purchased.
If your Elk Antennas product has a manufacturing defect during the warranty period, Elk Antennas will, at our option, correct the problem by repairing the product, replacing the product, or providing replacement parts.
This warranty is intended to make sure you receive a properly made and complete Elk Antennas product. For example, if a part was defective, missing, or incorrectly manufactured, Elk Antennas may send the needed replacement part or parts rather than requiring the entire antenna to be returned.
What This Warranty Covers
This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.
Examples may include a manufacturing defect in a supplied part, a missing or defective component, or a problem caused by the way the product was made.
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover damage caused by:
* Accidents, misuse, abuse, or neglect
* Improper assembly, installation, storage, or handling
* Modification or alteration of the product
* Damage during shipping to Elk Antennas
* Normal wear and tear
* Loss of parts after delivery
* Exposure to unusual or extreme conditions beyond normal intended use
This warranty also does not cover incidental or consequential damages, such as damage to other equipment, lost time, lost communications, or other losses arising from the use or inability to use the product.
Some states do not allow certain limitations or exclusions, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
Warranty Limits for Third-Party Purchases
This warranty does not provide a refund for products purchased from dealers, retailers, distributors, hamfest vendors, online marketplaces, private sellers, or any other third-party seller. Refunds and returns for purchases made from third-party sellers must be handled through the seller from whom the product was purchased, according to that seller’s return policy.
Elk Antennas’ warranty responsibility is limited to repair, replacement, or providing replacement parts for the defective or missing portion of the product. Elk Antennas is not responsible for any price paid to a third-party seller, including any markup, resale price, shipping charge, handling charge, marketplace fee, tax, duty, brokerage fee, or other charge collected by someone other than Elk Antennas.
Shipping for Warranty Service
The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the product to Elk Antennas if Elk Antennas asks for the product to be returned for inspection or service.
Elk Antennas will pay the cost of shipping the repaired product, replacement product, or replacement parts back to the customer.
How to Request a Return or Warranty Service
To request a return, refund, repair, replacement, or replacement parts, please contact Elk Antennas before shipping anything back.
Please include:
* Your name
* Contact information
* Order number or proof of purchase, if available
* Date and place of purchase, if known
* A brief description of the issue
* Photos, if they would help explain the problem
We do not want to make the process difficult. In many cases, a short explanation and a few photos are enough for us to understand the issue and help you with the next step.
